DescriptionCNC Milled D-Plate with Glass Platen and 5″ Aluminum Wheel SetThe Nexus Grinder 1/2″ thick Aluminum D-Plates are completely manufactured on a CNC milling machine.  The wheel side is milled flat with a face cutter, and the wheel mounting holes are CNC tapped 1/2″-13 threads.  Milling our D-Plates ensures the most accurate and flat D-Plate available on the Canadian Market.Our D-shaped Plate was designed for slack belt grinding. Wheel mounting holes are 1/2″-13 accurately tapped. The center mounting hole is 1/2″ diameter and the U-shape adjusting slot accepts a 3/8″ bolt. The slots for a platen mounting bracket are 1/4″ wide and 6″ apart. The axle holes are 10.5″ center to center and will accept an 8″ long platen.Our set includes Two (2) of our Nexus Aluminum Idler Wheels with 3 stacked sealed 1/2″ ID bearings, two (2) bolts 1/2″-13 threads, with machine washers, and lock nuts. One, 3″ diameter x 2-1/4″ wide precision CNC lathe turned aluminum Tracking Wheel with 3 stacked sealed 1/2″ ID bearings. The tracking wheel is crowned on a CNC lathe to ensure accurate belt tracking. The bearings fit a 1/2″ axle bolt. One, 5″ diameter precision CNC lathe turned aluminum Drive Wheel. The drive wheel is crowned to ensure accurate belt tracking. The face of the drive wheel is 2-1/4″ wide.  The set screw (included) is 1/4-20 & 1/2″ long and is offset to assist with the installations on shorter drive shafts. Please note that the bore of this drive wheel is 5/8″ and also has a standard key way.Note: 2″ and 3″ wheels have 3 stacked bearings.
