Starsolve and Citro Solve consists of the same chemical formulation, except for the Lemon perfume present in Citro Solve. Starsolve is generally safe to use on all types of surfaces. Like Engine cleaner, Starsolve contains Sodium Hydroxide (Caustic Flakes) and should not come in contact with vehicle paint, it will cause white streaks which will require polish to remove.
