Chinese student viola outfit labelled Stentor II (15″)

We feel very strongly that all young or beginner players should have their first outfit carefully set up to a high standard. Therefore these outfits all go through our workshop to have the bridge shaped correctly with the correct string height measurements, likewise the top saddle. The pegs and soundpost are carefully adjusted and the instrument checked over in general to make sure it will play as well as possible. Once this work is carried out it is surprising how well they play and explains why our outfits are a little more expensive than those that can be generally found in some music shops or on a large number of internet sites.
