If you wait long enough, you can get Lake McKenzie to yourself despite it being the most popular lake on the island. It is not hard to see why. Perfect white sand and crystal clear fresh water with no crocodiles! Its waters are so clear due to there being very little nutrients for algae to grow. At around 65000 years old, it is also one of the oldest lakes on the island. The pure white sand is one indicator of this. White sand is old sand.
