Mascarpone comes in a 2kg plastic tub with a snap on lid. Mascarpone is a triple-cream cheese (though more accurately a lightly-whipped cream) made from crème fraîche, denatured with tartaric acid. Mascarpone is milky white in colour and is easily spread. Ideal for restaurants and other catering establishments. Must be kept refrigerated.
