Product Description afterimage 1 Remembrance 2 Reflections 3 Hemisphere 4 In This Century 5 Imagine Being Here 6 Interlaced / https://youtu.be/vbNiL_35PW4 7 The Endless Dusk 8 Telekinesis 9 Interlaced (Purple Fog Side Remix) Genres: Dream Pop, Art Rock, Ambient Pop For Fans Of: David Sylvian, Scott Walker, Talk Talk Afterimage is dreamy art pop with velvety male vocals atop sparse atmospheric textures. Through minimalist compositions, Elsehow (the solo project of Italian-Belgian artist Piero Delux) explores states of memory, perception, and lingering emotional connections. Refracting inspiration from the passionate depth of David Sylvian, the cinematic ambition of Scott Walker, and the late-period minimalism of Talk Talk and Mark Hollis, Afterimage’s melodic fragments, delicate textures, and subtle rhythms construct sensitive, spectral vignettes. Delux’s voice — silky, intimate, and sincere — guides the listener through shifting moods and quiet intensity. His lyrics, rich with poetic nuance, echo the album’s themes of recollection, impermanence, and emotional ambiguity where light and shadow coexist. “I think of Afterimage as a collection of sonic echoes,” Piero reflects, “moments half-remembered, blurred by time and feeling. Like a drifting memory or fading dream, it’s built from fragments — sounds and images at the edge of recognition. Each piece is a window into a liminal state: between past and present, stillness and blur.” Afterimage is Elsehow’s 3rd album. Rooted in dream pop, it’s a contemplative work exploring the underlying quality between sound and self. Interlaced I feel misplaced Running for dream’s embrace Hoping that it’ll gleam from time to time to set the clock on the edge of a dream So wrong like feathers that fall from Mars Sounding like peaceful thoughts When birds are rising from the world that make them Weak and vain, this world has been fading and has woven through you Dim and worn, this world has been ageing and has seeped into you There is no place To bury the time we spent Longing for years of grace In the gallery our moments Interlaced moving through walls into space Rather than frozen, a life we chase In space and time to make us Weak and frail, this world has been fading, and has woven through you. Dim and tired, this world has been aging, and has seeped into you Frail and mild, this world’s surely shading, and has woven through you. Dim and weary, this world’s been degrading, And has melded with you.
