Description Negroamaro Puglia IGP 75cl San Patrime produces this excellent Negramaro from local Puglia grape varieties. TASTING NOTES Aromas of plum, cherry, rosemary and vanilla, which carry over to the palate. Deep and intense, with a smooth character typical of the variety. FOOD PAIRINGS A perfect wine for pizza (American style); very good with roast meat or a rich goulash. FRIARWOOD SAYS Aged for 6 months in concrete vats. The Primitivo grape variety was brought to Puglia from Slovenia in the 1800s, around the same time it made the journey to America, where it became known as Zinfandel.
